Questions and answers

How routes, plans and quotes work, and what the water restrictions mean for your job.

Getting started

Where do you work?

Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties. If you're near the edge of that area, ask and we'll tell you straight whether we can fit you in.

How do I get a price?

Send a request online or email J@TampaBayWashCo.com. Fleets get a free walk-around and a flat per-unit rate on the spot. For cars, we confirm the vehicle and plan with you and quote it directly.

Do I need to be there?

For fleets, no. We work your yard after hours on a set schedule, and we agree on access at the walk-around. For your car, tell us where it will be, at home or at work, and we'll confirm access when we schedule.

Fleet washing

How often do you wash fleet vehicles?

The standard route is an exterior wash every two weeks and a full detail every quarter. If your vehicles need a different rhythm, we can set weekly or monthly visits.

Will washing take my trucks out of service?

No. We wash at your yard while your vehicles are parked after hours, so they roll out clean in the morning.

What kinds of fleets do you work with?

Small-business truck and van fleets: hvac, plumbing, electrical, pest control, landscaping, delivery, contractors. Tell us what you run and we'll set the route around it.

Car plans and details

What plans do you offer?

Essential is a wash and vacuum once a month. Maintain is a wash and vacuum twice a month. Total Care is twice a month with a shine at each visit, and its quarterly full details are included. On Essential and Maintain, quarterly full details are 20% off. Plans run on a 6-month agreement.

What's in a full detail?

A hand wash with wheels and tires, a machine wax applied with a dual-action polisher, hot-water carpet and upholstery extraction, a full vacuum with a dash and panel wipe-down, and streak-free glass inside and out.

Do you do paint correction or headlight restoration?

We quote machine polishing and paint correction, engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration, and mold or odor treatment case by case. Mention what you need in your request.

Water restrictions

Are you affected by the water restrictions?

Yes. The Southwest Florida Water Management District's Modified Phase III water shortage order covers Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco and runs through March 31, 2027. It limits pressure washing to work like paint or sealer prep and mold and mildew removal, so cleaning just for looks waits until the order lifts. We'll tell you up front what we can do for your property.

Can my HOA make me pressure wash my driveway right now?

The district's order says HOAs and similar groups can't require pressure washing while it's in effect, and cleaning only for appearance isn't allowed under the order.

Still have a question?

Send it with your request, or email us and ask.

60% off your first full detail when you start a 6-month plan. Members get 20% off every quarterly detail. Terms are confirmed in your service agreement.

What needs washing?

Pet hair, stains, a second vehicle, a day that works best.
